“Trees not only refresh the air, but also shape the planet’s climate. They recycle harmful emissions, maintain soil fertility, serve as a home for various animals and birds, provide food and a healthy environment. Trees can really be called the lungs of our planet. After all, this is a real “factory” that produces the oxygen. When a tree absorbs carbon dioxide by the leaves, as well as water and sunlight, it creates starch and other nutrients, and at the same time releases oxygen necessary for all living creatures”- said Alina Skomorokhova, co-organizer of” Greening of the Planet “in Khmelnytsky region.

“Nowthe whole world is on the verge of global climate challenges. That is why it is important for us to unite all people around the greening of the planet. It is important for everyone to realize that even one separate tree affects the future of our children! We form people’s eco-consciousness! We are changing the world for the better! ”- said the regional coordinator, Oksana Omelchak.
