As part of the Greening of the Planet project, the Star Forest was established in Darnytskyi district of Kyiv on April 17, 2021 with the participation of Ukrainian celebrities and public figures: SKAY band leader, Oleh Sobchuk, Yevhen Klopotenko, Iryna Horova, Michel Andrade , Positiva, Nino Basilaya, Lida Lee, MONATIK Corporation, Andriy Hayat, Anna Trincher, Lyudmila Barbir, Ruslana Senichkina, Marichka Padalko, Kateryna Fine and others.
At the start of te event, the initiator of the “Greening of the Planet”, the president of the international women’s business club “Business Woman Club”, Hanna Krysiuk said:
“It is important for us that people from different fields of activity plant trees together. Today, the participants are the show business stars and media representatives, public figures. This involvement is very important, because they set an example to the children and the youth of how to restore our ecosystem and preserve the nature.
The partners of this event and co-initiators were MOZGI Group.
Iryna Horova, Co-founder and CEO of MOZGI GROUP, also planted a nominal tree along with other celebrities and noted: “For two years now, our group of companies have been supporting the Greening of the Planet initiative, which is an important issue of our philosophy and social responsibility. This time, we’ve decided to involve famous friends and partners in the action, who also care about the future of the country and the planet. After all, public figures and artists have the opportunity to speak loudly about problems that require attention and further consideration. Today we have done well, all together! ”
At the end of the action, the President of the largest business club “CEO Club Ukraine”, co-initiator of the project Serhii Haidaichuk commended the celebrities and partners for their participation, and also added that the initiative will gain a global vector in the future.
He said: “We plan to hold actions all around the world and to change the entire planet for the better. This is said, we are planning to plant millions of trees. In recent months, 138 countries have joined our initiative. And the business representatives have been strongly supporting us”.
The event also included a performance – a master class by renowned chef Yevhen Klopotenko, and made a presentation of an Ukrainian dish that has been submitted for consideration as an intangible piece of cultural heritage of UNESCO, called “Culture of Ukrainian borscht preparation”.
It is also notable that the initiators of the “Greening of the Planet” action are: the president of the largest business club “CEO Club Ukraine” Serhii Haidaichuk and the president of the international women’s business club “Business Woman Club” Hanna Krysiuk.
We would like to remind you that the global ecological project “Greening of the Planet” has started on March 11 and is still ongoing.
The ecological action was initiated by the Greening of Ukraine Charitable Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Environment, the State Forestry Agency and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The scope of “Greening of the Planet” is a large-scale landscaping of the planet and raising awareness of biggest problem of the century – the global climate change.
